Qin Yu wasn’t stupid. He knew the other party was trying to subtly extract information. Two people who understood each other’s intentions were dancing around the truth.
The current situation was this: Qin Yu was aware that the other party had basically grasped the whole picture, so he opted for a sincere approach while steadfastly refusing to admit anything.
The other party also knew that the account wasn’t actually Lin Ke. From the looks of it, they were still interested in continuing their conversation.
However, Qin Yu couldn’t guess when the other person had figured it out. He had been sympathizing with this “cuckolded brother” earlier, only to end up being the clown himself.
But then again, he had never even been to Hawaii, let alone taken any beach photos. He didn’t have any!
He couldn’t even be bothered to find a watermark-free Hawaii tourism photo online.
Now that he knew the truth was out in the open, Qin Yu had no intention of fawning over this guy like some lovesick bottom.
He still wanted the full payment, but before that, he had to risk salvaging some dignity.
Suddenly, Qin Yu had an idea.
[I’ve changed my mind. Let’s forget about that wish of yours, okay?]
Anyone could see he was fishing, and most would ignore it, but the suspicious ones would take the bait.
[?]
[Unless you’re willing to trade, I won’t send it to you.]
Qin Yu smirked, his fingertips hovering over the keyboard as he patiently waited for a response.
[Trade what?]
See? The fish had taken the bait, even though the other party was knowingly doing so.
[Whatever you want.]
Seeing this message, Qin Yu felt the power shifting to his hands. He relaxed, leaning back in his chair, seemingly confident.
[How about I show you the sunset from my side?]
Qin Yu stared at the screen in silence, momentarily bewildered. There it was – a straight guy in the gay world. Apparently, this brother wasn’t any gayer than him.
[Ahem, just kidding]
Thankfully, the other party followed up quickly, or their final chat would have died right there.
[So what do you want to trade?]
The other party caught on to Qin Yu’s hint and played along.
Qin Yu grinned slyly at the computer screen. This was exactly what he’d been waiting for.
[Let’s play bigger]
[?]
[How about abs pic for abs pic?]
Qin Yu admitted that he initiated this conversation out of selfish desire. After all, when an opportunity presents itself, why not take it?
Besides, the other party was clever, probably a top like him. Since realizing this guy had been playing dumb all along, Qin Yu felt nine parts annoyed but one part impressed.
Setting reality aside, this guy was indeed attractive, but physiologically speaking, they were already in conflict.
It was a pity, no matter how you looked at it.
[You have abs?]
The other party inquired.
Even through text, one could sense the deep skepticism in his tone.
[Never mind that. Are you in or not?]
Qin Yu didn’t give him much face this time, his tone suddenly turning cold.
With a few hours left until the end of his workday, Qin Yu had chosen to slack off.
The other party’s chat box showed “typing” for a while. Just as Qin Yu thought they might have decided to leave him on read, deeming it a waste of precious time to humor a stranger they’d been chatting with for a week, another message arrived.
The message was short, just one word, but it excited Qin Yu.
After thinking for so long, the other party replied with just one word.
[Deal]
Raine: I’ve been feeling lethargic lately, and I’m also busy completing my itinerary for my trip to Japan next month. I was originally planning to complete this within 1-2 days but it stretched to a few days. I’ll probably finish this by Monday.
