Early the next morning, Ning Guiqu woke up to the sound of his phone ringing. With his eyes still closed, he reached out to find his phone. After fumbling to turn off the alarm, he resumed his previous sleeping position, embracing something hard.

Suddenly, Ning Guiqu became fully awake.
He slowly opened his eyes to find Lu Yuan looking down at him with heavy-lidded eyes. Lu Yuan raised a hand and gently pushed away Ning Guiqu, who was clinging tightly to him. The weak, pitiful, and sheepish Ning Guiqu was easily nudged to the inner side of the bed.
The hard thing was Lu Yuan.
Lu Yuan silently got up. Ning Guiqu noticed that when Lu Yuan climbed down the ladder, his body seemed somewhat stiff. Could it be that he had slept the entire night holding Lu Yuan, and Lu Yuan hadn’t moved at all to avoid waking him up?
