Chapter 04: Failed Attempt at Feeding

Hu Hu chose to feed on yang essence after evening classes ended. On Monday, during their first class after military training, Hu Hu deliberately sat next to Ying Huaiting and searched for other fox spirits in the class who might be coveting Ying Huaiting.

Hu Hu decided on the fastest way to locate any fox spirits in class. After class, he walked up to a male student sitting in the second row who was playing with his phone. Feeling the intense stare, the student looked up. “What do you want?”

Hu Hu took a slight sniff, not the scent of his kind.

Next one.

“Just getting to know my classmates,” Hu Hu said.

The student: “……”

Hu Hu went to the third row. Sniff-

Not one either. Next.

All fifty-something students in the Business Management major turned to look at the strange Hu Hu. Although Hu Hu had delicate features, his behavior was weird. Having only attended two days of military training, most classmates weren’t familiar with him, but they knew he was Ying Huaiting’s boyfriend. The whole school forum had gone crazy over the news that the two most handsome freshmen were dating each other.

The male student sitting in front of Ying Huaiting turned around and carefully said, “Shouldn’t you control your boyfriend?”

These classmates who weren’t close to Ying Huaiting naturally believed the two were dating. During the rumors’ spread, no one had approached Ying Huaiting to verify, so this was the first time he’d been confronted about it directly.

Ying Huaiting: “……”

Ying Huaiting glanced at Hu Hu, who was now staring at students in the back rows.

“Classmate Hu Hu, I have a common face. Want to stare a bit longer?” It was a monkey-faced guy with a malicious smile.

Hu Hu frowned. As a fox spirit, he was most sensitive to human malice.

“No need,” Hu Hu replied directly. “You have an uncommon face. A common face is at the average standard. You’re below average, so it’s easy to remember.”

The air froze.

The student’s eyes widened in disbelief. “What did you say?”

Hu Hu seemed about to repeat himself when he was suddenly yanked away by a familiar scent. Ying Huaiting!

“What are you doing?” Hu Hu asked in confusion as Ying Huaiting pulled him to his seat.

Ying Huaiting warned, “If I’d been a second later, you would’ve been beaten up.”

Hu Hu tried to lean closer to Ying Huaiting but was pushed away again. He complained pitifully, “That’s not necessarily true. I’m super good at fighting.”

Saying he was super good while looking pitiful at the same time.

Ying Huaiting said coldly, “Now you’ve started harassing the entire class?”

“No! I’m looking for fox spirits who might be coveting you,” Hu Hu replied innocently.

Ying Huaiting: “……”

The student in front was shocked!

“Behave yourself. Fox spirits, really? You’re the most fox spirit-like person in class. Don’t drag me down with you,” Ying Huaiting whispered.

Hu Hu blushed and obediently said “oh,” then added, “Don’t leave after evening class. I have something important to tell you.”

Ying Huaiting ignored this request.

After evening class, Hu Hu held onto Ying Huaiting who was sitting next to him.

“Wait before you go! I really have something to tell you!”

Ying Huaiting looked at the serious Hu Hu. His instincts told him it wasn’t anything good, but curiosity won out and he stayed.

After all their classmates had left, Hu Hu picked up his backpack and stood up, gesturing for Ying Huaiting to follow. When they reached the classroom door, Hu Hu turned off the lights.

Perfect! Darkness was more suitable when doing bad things, especially since Ying Huaiting had voluntarily leaned against the wall.

“What is it?” Ying Huaiting’s impatient voice sounded particularly vulnerable in the dangerous darkness.

Hu Hu stood in front of Ying Huaiting, slightly lifted his chin, and said mysteriously, “Can I smell your yang essence?”

Ying Huaiting refused instantly. “No. If that’s all, I’m leaving.”

Just as Ying Huaiting lifted his foot, Hu Hu, though half a head shorter, pinned him against the wall, arms on either side of him. Although it was dark, it wasn’t pitch black. In the hazy moonlight, Ying Huaiting could see Hu Hu’s wide eyes filled with stubborn determination.

Ying Huaiting put his foot down with interest. “Planning to force yourself on me? Hu Hu, I should remind you, the school has surveillance cameras.”

Having gone this far, Hu Hu no longer cared about cameras.

“I’m so desperate!” Hu Hu’s voice was muffled. “I haven’t had any since becoming an adult! Ying Huaiting, you smell too good! Seeing you every day, I can barely hold back anymore!”

Ying Huaiting felt like he was dealing with a pervert, but he remained calm. “You really are a creep. A perverted, shameless creep.”

Hu Hu was extremely wronged. “I’m the most proper fox spirit ever! Ying Huaiting, I really want to smell and feed! Please, let me feed!”

Ying Huaiting: “……”

There was even feeding… If he was not mistaken, this so-called feeding wouldn’t involve consuming some indecent liquid, would it?

Ying Huaiting still asked cautiously, “How do you plan to feed?”

Thinking Ying Huaiting was giving in, but not knowing how to explain how fox spirits feed on yang essence, Hu Hu could only say, “Take off your pants, and I’ll show you.”

Ying Huaiting: “……”
