Hu Hu ended up sleeping on Ying Huaiting’s bed, even sharing the same blanket with him. Ah, he was wrapped in that delicious, fragrant yang energy! Hu Hu was so excited that his ears refused to retract.

Ying Huaiting seemed quite interested in his ears and kept flicking them. It didn’t hurt, but Hu Hu wasn’t happy about it! So, he took the opportunity to cling to Ying Huaiting’s arm instead. So fragrant, so delicious! 

At that moment, he was the happiest fox in the world!

But Hu Hu’s happiness didn’t last long, because he heard Ying Huaiting ask, “Where’s your tail?”

If he let Ying Huaiting use his tail as a pillow now, it meant he would have to turn his back to him and wouldn’t be able to smell the fragrant yang essence from Ying Huaiting’s body. Hu Hu bumped his head against Ying Huaiting’s and said, “Let’s bond a bit more first.”

Ying Huaiting: “……”

Ying Huaiting pushed Hu Hu’s head away, completely ignoring the fox spirit’s coquettish behavior, and insisted, “Tail, or get off.”

Hu Hu’s ears twitched, and he reluctantly turned around. Just as his tail brushed against Ying Huaiting’s chest, before Ying Huaiting could grab his big tail, Hu Hu suddenly flung Ying Huaiting’s blanket aside. He sat up on the bed and asked excitedly, “Do you want to see my animal form?”

Ying Huaiting’s fingertips tingled, and he gave a soft “mm.”

The next second, human-form Hu Hu vanished. His clothes fell onto the bed, and a fluffy red fox appeared at Ying Huaiting’s headboard. Before Ying Huaiting could process what happened, the animal leaped onto his face.

Ying Huaiting let out a muffled groan. Although it was something soft covering him, his vision was now blurred, and he even had trouble breathing. Ying Huaiting pushed the animal Hu Hu away, but Hu Hu excitedly rubbed his fox head against Ying Huaiting again.

So fragrant, so fragrant, so fragrant!

Even in animal form, he was still a complete pervert¹痴汉 (chī hàn) – molester (loanword from Japanese “chikan”) / idiot / fool.

But in Ying Huaiting’s eyes, fox-form Hu Hu was just an adorable, clingy little animal. How could a little animal be a pervert? He was just being clingy. Ying Huaiting’s attitude toward fox-form Hu Hu visibly improved. He stroked Hu Hu’s fur and gently pinched his ears. When Hu Hu burrowed into Ying Huaiting’s arms, Ying Huaiting didn’t resist at all and even hugged him back.

Sniff! Sniff! Sniff sniff sniff!

“Can you talk?” Ying Huaiting asked after petting the fox’s fur for a while.

“Ying!” (Yes, yes I can!)

Ying Huaiting was confused by this fox language. He looked down at the little animal still sniffing around his chest. When Hu Hu noticed Ying Huaiting’s gaze, he let out another coquettish “Ying-ying!”

Ying Huaiting: “……”

Ying Huaiting couldn’t help but pat the little animal’s head. “Human speech, can you speak it?”

Hu Hu: “Ying ying!” (I’m a fox now, how can I speak human language!)

Ying Huaiting vaguely detected a hint of impatience in that fox language. So he squeezed the fluffy big fox in his arms so tight that Hu Hu could barely breathe, and heard Ying Huaiting scold him, “Stupid fox, can’t even speak human language.”

Hu Hu got angry! He used his fox-head attack to headbutt Ying Huaiting.

Ying Huaiting enjoyed the headbutts. He leaned close to the fox’s ear and said with mock seriousness, “Hu Hu, you have to chase me properly before you can do this, understand?”

Hu Hu didn’t understand! Fox just wanted to sniff sniff sniff!

“Hu Hu, Hu Fox, your parents were quite straightforward with naming you,” Ying Huaiting teased about his name.

Hu Hu continued his fox-head attacks.

Sniff sniff sniff sniff sniff!

This is heaven!

Hu Hu slept with Ying Huaiting in his animal form, and the next morning he was still in Ying Huaiting’s arms. No matter how much he nuzzled against Ying Huaiting, he wasn’t pushed away. But there were early classes on Tuesday. Hu Hu reluctantly changed back to human form to get dressed while Ying Huaiting was washing up.

After transforming back, Hu Hu went over to Ying Huaiting who was still washing up, bumped his head against Ying Huaiting’s shoulder, and took the chance to hug his arm. Ying Huaiting finished rinsing his mouth and glanced at Hu Hu, saying coldly, “Win me over first, then you can hug.”

With that, he pulled his arm away.

Hu Hu pouted. Last night, Ying Huaiting had been squeezing and hugging him as a fox, but now that he was back in human form, Ying Huaiting was acting like he didn’t know him. But it didn’t matter, he had already feasted on yang essence all night long!

Now, it didn’t matter whether he could smell it or not!

Besides, he could turn back into a fox tonight and sleep with Ying Huaiting again!

While Hu Hu was washing up, Ying Huaiting was originally organizing his textbooks when he glanced at Hu Hu’s pajamas on his bed. For some inexplicable reason, Ying Huaiting picked up Hu Hu’s pajama pants, checked the back, and after satisfying his curiosity, secretly put them back.

Poor Hu Hu was still daydreaming, but that night, as soon as little animal Hu Hu jumped onto Ying Huaiting’s bed, the heartless Ying Huaiting carried him back to his own bed, even slandering him, “Are you planning to turn into a fox every day to drain me dry? Huhu, you think too little of me. Until you win me over, sleep by yourself like a good boy.”

“Ying ying ying!” (I’m a fox spirit, not a human! I won’t drain you dry!!) An extremely angry cry, but Ying Huaiting couldn’t understand it and just patted his fox head.

A little fox temporarily lost his dream.

A little fox turned back to human form and came back with his big tail, “You can use my tail as a pillow!”

Hu Hu sat on the edge of Ying Huaiting’s bed, swishing his big tail.

Ying Huaiting glanced at it and looked away, saying mercilessly, “Wait until you win me over, then we can sleep together.” He wasn’t tempted by Hu Hu’s big tail at all.

Hu Hu was shocked, “Then what about last night? What was that?”

Ying Huaiting casually replied, “That was you being indecent.”

A little fox returned to his own bed in disbelief, completely losing his dream.
