MRSSG Chapter 15 – Stomach Condition (Part 1)
by RaineTLN: “养胃” (yǎng wèi) literally means “nourishing the stomach” or “stomach condition,” but in this context, it’s used as a playful euphemism for erectile dysfunction. They are being indirect, so we’re keeping it as “stomach condition.” Just know it’s not actually about the stomach. 😉
Hu Hu noticed that Ying Huaiting had been making him live a bland and uneventful life recently. Was this still his shameless husband? His shameless husband, who would usually lose all self-control at the sight of his fox ears?
Now, Hu Hu reached out to touch Ying Huaiting’s abs. Ying Huaiting, scrolling through his phone, let him do as he pleased. Was the phone more attractive than a fox spirit?
Hu Hu thought for a moment, then summoned his fluffy tail and brushed it against Ying Huaiting’s face. Ying Huaiting finally grabbed hold of the tail, shifting his gaze from the phone to Hu Hu’s face. “Sleepy?”
Hu Hu wasn’t sleepy.
He stared at Ying Huaiting and suddenly asked, “Ying Huaiting, aren’t you going to do something to me?”
Ying Huaiting replied seriously, “…Huhu, we need to practice restraint.”
Restraint.
That word actually came out of Ying Huaiting’s mouth. How strange!
But Hu Hu was a fox spirit. Once a fox spirit had tasted the pleasures of a man, how could he adapt to such a bland life? So, Hu Hu continued to grope Ying Huaiting, trying to stir up his desire.
As he touched him, Hu Hu’s hand wandered to a certain place.
It was soft.
Ying Huaiting coughed lightly. “I said we need restraint.”
Restraint.
Could restraint really overcome natural physiological reactions? Hu Hu rested his head on Ying Huaiting’s arm, his wide eyes showing no sign of sleepiness. Physiological reactions were hard to suppress, and even if they were, it would require systematic training. Was Ying Huaiting secretly training himself to resist his charms without him knowing?
But Hu Hu hadn’t helped with any training.
So there could only be one truth.
He had lost his charm over Ying Huaiting.
Once this thought took root, it grew rapidly. How miserabl, how miserable, how miserable! In that moment, Hu Hu believed he became the most pitiful and useless fox in the entire fox realm. Married at eighteen, and not even two months later, he, a fox spirit, could no longer attract his own husband.
A fox spirit!
A naturally alluring fox spirit!
Yet he could no longer attract his own husband.
The next day, Hu Hu couldn’t eat. Watching him pick at his food, Ying Huaiting said ruthlessly, “If you don’t eat properly now, I won’t buy you late-night snacks.”
Hu Hu looked up, his face scrunched up. “Because I’ve lost my charm, it doesn’t matter if I go hungry?”
Ying Huaiting: ?
Veins popped on Ying Huaiting’s forehead. “Did I say that?”
Hu Hu heaved a deep sigh, overwhelmed by grievance, and couldn’t take another bite. He put down his chopsticks and said in despair, “I won’t eat anymore, not even tonight. I’ll just starve to death.”
Ying Huaiting: “……”
Ying Huaiting had offended his fox spirit wife.
The reason… could it be because he refused intimacy with Hu Hu last night?
Back in their dorm room, Hu Hu lay on his bed with his phone against his ear, his fox ears drooping as he chatted with his friends.
Ying Huaiting couldn’t hear the other side of the conversation, but he could hear Hu Hu’s voice.
“Yeah, I’ve lost my charm.”
“My husband even wants me to starve to death.”
Ying Huaiting: “……” He had only said he wouldn’t buy late-night snacks.
“Maybe after I starve to death, he can find someone else. But will they be as pretty as me?”
“Yeah, in his eyes now I’m…”
Before Hu Hu could finish talking to his friends, Ying Huaiting suddenly came over and ended the call. Hu Hu grew even more pitiful, glaring at Ying Huaiting. “Does charmless me not even have the freedom to chat with my friends anymore?”
Ying Huaiting ignored these nonsensical questions and demanded directly, “Tell me, is this because I mentioned restraint and didn’t get intimate with you last night?”
Hu Hu flopped onto the bed even more heartbroken, confessing everything. “I touched you and got no reaction. Ying Huaiting, I’ve lost my charm.”
Ying Huaiting fell silent. So that was really it.
“Ying Huaiting, this fox spirit has lost his charm!” During Ying Huaiting’s few seconds of silence, Hu Hu’s pitiful voice came again.
Ying Huaiting weakly defended, “…No, you are charming.”
Hu Hu didn’t believe a single word, reasoning logically, “If I’m charming, why were you soft?”
Ying Huaiting’s expression turned strange. He opened his mouth, wanting to speak but hesitating. Hu Hu turned over on the bed, staring at Ying Huaiting with a look of despair. “Say it, Ying Huaiting. Why were you soft?”
Ying Huaiting closed his eyes, took a light breath as if preparing himself mentally, then opened his eyes and said slowly, “Because I’m… have a stomach condition.”
Hu Hu blanked out.
Then suddenly sat up.
After searching what “stomach condition” meant, his fox ears perked up instantly as he broke into a bright smile. “Then it’s fine! I’m still a super charming fox spirit! Don’t worry, husband with stomach condition! It will pass!”
Ying Huaiting: “……”
Really needed to teach him a lesson.
Author’s Note: It wasn’t really a stomach condition, after all, he had a fox spirit for a wife
