MRSSG Chapter 16 – Stomach Condition (Part 2)

Ever since Ying Huaiting told Hu Hu about his ‘stomach condition’, Hu Hu started treating him like some new species. While touching him, he asked, “Can’t you feel anything when I touch you like this?”

Ying Huaiting answered patiently, “No.”

Then Hu Hu found a bunch of suggestive videos to watch in front of him, asking, “Do these videos make you feel anything?”

Ying Huaiting: “They never did before either.”

Then directly asking, “So does this mean you can’t cheat on me anymore?”

Ying Huaiting finally snapped in irritation and refused to buy Hu Hu late-night snacks that evening.

After treating Ying Huaiting like some novelty for a few days, Hu Hu returned to normal and lost interest. Ying Huaiting thought he would feel relieved, but he didn’t.

Because Hu Hu started searching things like “which toys are the best,” “is using toys considered cheating when husband has stomach condition,” “can stomach condition be cured,” “does having stomach condition cause low self-esteem.”

Hu Hu didn’t hide these searches from Ying Huaiting. When Ying Huaiting looked over, Hu Hu’s face turned red as he declared, “I’m so loyal. Ying Huaiting, even though you have a stomach condition now, I’m still not leaving you.”

Ying Huaiting pinched Hu Hu’s face, “I feel like I’m being attacked up close. Shouldn’t you be happy that I have a stomach condition? Otherwise, would you still be able to play with your phone right now?”

Hu Hu replied righteously, “I’m a fox spirit! How can having a husband with stomach condition be something worth celebrating?”

“Who was the one acting all reluctant and pitiful every time before?” Ying Huaiting brought up old scores.

“That was playing hard to get! Ying Huaiting, it’s a seduction technique. You always got excited whenever I acted unwilling.” Hu Hu’s fox ears twitched excitedly.

Ying Huaiting’s expression grew complex, “I actually didn’t. Don’t imagine weird things. I get more excited when you’re cooperative.”

“What about now!” Hu Hu perked up.

Ying Huaiting closed his eyes, “I’m out of commission. Don’t bother me.”

Hu Hu pouted.

Hu Hu thought Ying Huaiting didn’t seem to have any self-esteem issues about having stomach condition at all.

Hu Hu didn’t actually mind having a husband with stomach condition, but it was still an illness. So at Hu Hu’s strong insistence, they went to a men’s health clinic.

Ying Huaiting had explained countless times, “I’m just under some mental stress, I’ll be fine later.”

Hu Hu demanded, “What stress?”

Ying Huaiting wouldn’t say.

Hu Hu took it as Ying Huaiting being stubborn. Humans were all stubborn, and Ying Huaiting was even more so!

To avoid talking about his stress, Ying Huaiting had no choice but to follow Hu Hu to the men’s health clinic.

They were received by a male doctor who couldn’t hide his surprise upon seeing them both. They were young and good-looking, and it was quite unfortunate whichever of them has the stomach condition.

The doctor routinely asked about Ying Huaiting’s condition. Ying Huaiting hesitated, seemingly wanting Hu Hu to leave. But Hu Hu stayed and even became Ying Huaiting’s spokesperson.

“This is his first time having stomach condition, it happened suddenly without warning. It’s been almost two weeks now. What should we do? Can it be cured?”

The doctor calmly replied, “There’s no guarantee. I need to check the condition first.”

Hu Hu frowned, “Does the treatment require taking off pants?”

Doctor: “How would I know the specific situation without looking?”

After some internal struggle, Hu Hu seriously told Ying Huaiting, “Ying Huaiting, you must maintain your male virtue.”

The doctor secretly rolled his eyes.

Ying Huaiting felt exhausted, “Doctor, just prescribe some medicine.”

The doctor also said, “For a first occurrence, we can try medication first. Are you sure you don’t want me to examine you for proper treatment?”

Hu Hu agreed. “Yeah yeah, Ying Huaiting, are you really not letting the doctor check?”

Although Ying Huaiting wasn’t insecure about his stomach condition, since it really was just from too much stress, facing the urging from both the doctor and Hu Hu still naturally led to a feeling of “maybe I’m completely done for.”

Ying Huaiting forced a slight smile, “Just prescribe some common treatment medicine.”

The doctor did, and after returning home Hu Hu excitedly said, “Ying Huaiting, you’ll get better! I saw reviews of that hospital online, people say it’s like a hospital of bodhisattvas!”

Ying Huaiting didn’t want to talk.

Three days later, on Sunday, Ying Huaiting was wearing a suit and fixing his tie.

Hu Hu stared at Ying Huaiting in his suit, dazed, “Ying Huaiting, you look so charming today.”

Ying Huaiting was too nervous to even tease Hu Hu. But Hu Hu seriously pointed at Ying Huaiting’s suit buttons, “But your buttons are done wrong.”

Ying Huaiting: “……”

Ying Huaiting hurriedly checked the mirror. Sure enough, the right side of his suit was longer. All buttons were misaligned. However, he didn’t even notice.

Ying Huaiting let out a breath.

Don’t be nervous, don’t be nervous, it’s just meeting Hu Hu’s fox parents.

“Let’s go, Huhu.”

“Ying Huaiting, aren’t you taking those expensive gifts you bought for my parents?”

Ying Huaiting: “……”

Ying Huaiting went back to get them.

Hu Hu had told him three weeks ago that he would take him to meet his parents. The reason was that Hu Hu had accidentally let it slip to his parents. Although he stayed calm after reading those messages, and even when Hu Hu comforted him saying “Ying Huaiting, it’s just because my fox family hasn’t met you yet, they’ll like you once they do. They’ll also smell your nice yang essence.” Ying Huaiting had calmly replied, “They should, I did steal their precious fox.”

But privately he began to worry, so stressed that he lost interest in teasing Hu Hu, and even secretly browsed the Supernatural Network daily searching how to gain fox spirit parents’ approval. Hu Hu just thought he’d gotten into playing with his phone.

It was too embarrassing. Hu Hu had been so relaxed visiting his family, even the alcohol was bought by him, and could even complain to his parents. So Ying Huaiting would rather be thought having a stomach condition than let Hu Hu know he was nervous.

Hu Hu just made a sound of acknowledgment and did not take it seriously.

“You should get better from your stomach condition soon, I saw you secretly throwing the medicine in the trash. Ying Huaiting, you need to take your medicine!” This was still Hu Hu’s main concern.

Ying Huaiting: “…Mm.”

He estimated he’d be better by tomorrow at the latest.
