MRSSG Chapter 17 – Extra: The Perverted Little Fox
by RaineAfter meeting the parents, Hu Hu discovered that Ying Huaiting could perform again! But since Ying Huaiting had been out of commission before, Hu Hu always worried this was just a temporary recovery, and was afraid that he might become impotent again any day.
Ying Huaiting had nothing to say about this and actually enjoyed letting his little fox check up on his body from time to time.
However, Ying Huaiting never expected that his past impotence would have such a huge impact on Hu Hu. Three years later, during senior year internships, Hu Hu decided to skip the internship and prepare for graduate school instead. Pursuing graduate studies wasn’t an issue at all. Ying Huaiting fully supported it.
But Hu Hu wanted to study medicine.
Ying Huaiting couldn’t understand at all. “Hu Hu, switching to medicine isn’t as simple as you think. Why do you suddenly want to study medicine?”
Hu Hu replied mysteriously, “Ying Huaiting, just thinking that I could treat you if you have a stomach condition again makes me super motivated!”
Ying Huaiting: “…..”
It had been almost three years. Almost three years had passed.
Ying Huaiting was exhausted. “I won’t have a stomach condition again.”
Hu Hu took a deep sniff of Ying Huaiting’s yang essence and hugged him tightly, saying seriously, “What if you do! Ying Huaiting, I could accept your stomach condition before, but not anymore. I’m a perverted fox spirit now!”
Ying Huaiting rubbed his temples and changed the subject. “Is your ID card permanent now?”
Hu Hu nodded with a grin. “Yes! Our marriage isn’t limited to just four years anymore!”
Ying Huaiting smiled happily too.
Whatever, let him take the exam. He’d give up once he realized how difficult it was.
After senior year, the human and fox moved out together.
Ying Huaiting returned to work at his family company, while Hu Hu studied for graduate school at home, so they lived very close to Ying Huaiting’s workplace. According to Hu Hu, he hadn’t told his fox family about applying to graduate school, so they stopped giving him allowance.
Ying Huaiting directly gave his salary card to Hu Hu. But after a month, he discovered that his salary remained untouched, and Hu Hu had extra money to buy strange items. Like a thousand-yuan crystal lamp that flashed seven colors at night.
When they used it as a night light, Hu Hu woke up in the middle of the night and got so startled that his fox ears popped right out.
“Ying Huaiting, there’s a ghost!”
The crystal lamp was useless after that.
Ying Huaiting worried that his silly fox might have been tricked into doing something illegal for quick money, like credit card cash advances. So he inquired, “Did your parents find out about grad school and give you allowance?”
Hu Hu shook his head. “No.”
Ying Huaiting frowned deeply, “Where did you get the money from?”
Hu Hu replied matter-of-factly, “Subsidy.”
Subsidy?
Hu Hu explained, “Most supernatural beings don’t have high education levels, so we get subsidies for pursuing graduate studies.”
Ying Huaiting asked suspiciously, “You get subsidies just for applying?”
Hu Hu nodded while reading his book.
Ying Huaiting sat beside him and continued to disturb the studying fox, “What if you don’t get in?”
“Then I’ll keep trying. They’ll give subsidies for ten years if I study for ten years.”
Ying Huaiting: “…..”
If that’s the case, why would supernatural beings even work? They could just study for grad school forever. Ying Huaiting stared at Hu Hu, unable to hold back his question, “Are there supernatural beings who don’t work and just study for grad school full-time?”
Hu Hu looked puzzled, “Of course not. Getting these subsidies is exhausting,. It’s better to work. Jobs at the Supernatural Management Bureau are easy and pay well. No supernatural being would chase after this kind of money.”
Ying Huaiting started to regret not being a supernatural being. Being one seemed so free from competition.
But watching Hu Hu poring over medical textbooks made him both touched and embarrassed, so he tried to persuade him again. “Don’t do this for me. Do what you like. Didn’t you want to work at the Supernatural Bureau to correct the fox encyclopedia?”
Since they were at home, Hu Hu had his fox ears and tail out. His tail swished as he said seriously, “Ying Huaiting, I really am quite perverted, that’s no lie, so there’s no need to correct it.”
Ying Huaiting expressionlessly flicked Hu Hu’s ear.
Hu Hu yelped and put down his pen, turning to face Ying Huaiting and patting his shoulder, “Don’t worry, it’s not all for you. I don’t really know what I want to do either, and studying medicine seems nice. Besides, I’ve already talked to the stomach condition doctor. He said after I graduate, I can intern with him and he’ll make me his chief disciple!”
Ying Huaiting: “…You can call him an andrologist.”
Hu Hu made a sound of acknowledgment, then suddenly hugged Ying Huaiting tight, nuzzling his chin and face like a clingy, spoiled little fox, whining, “Hubby, you have a fox spirit like me at home yet you come back so late. It’s already ten o’clock!”
Ying Huaiting hugged his fox wife tightly too, apologetically explaining, “I just started at the company, so I need to get the hang of things first. I’ll come home earlier once I’m settled.”
Hmph!
Hu Hu was dissatisfied. Was work more important than him! So Hu Hu attacked Ying Huaiting with his gentle fox-head attack.
“When should someone with a fox spirit like me come home?”
Ying Huaiting deliberately flicked his fox ears again, “Eight o’clock?”
Hu Hu lifted his head fiercely and used a not-so-gentle fox-head attack, “That’s too late! Ying Huaiting, I’m going to be a perverted fox spirit now!”
The next second, Hu Hu sealed Ying Huaiting’s lips with his own.
Ying Huaiting happily complied.
His greatest happiness was that his wife had finally become a truly perverted fox spirit.
Author’s Note:
Dear readers, I have an idea – for the next part, I want to write about Huhu working at the Supernatural Management Bureau helping supernatural beings with their relationship problems. There will be rabbit spirits and other supernatural beings seeking Hu Hu’s help with their love lives, and Hu Hu will give advice that’s somewhat unreliable yet somehow reliable. It’ll be about their married life and work. The previous content would then be their college romance arc.
I’ll write one chapter first, and if you accept it, I’ll continue writing in this direction. If not, I won’t write it this way.
If there’s no next chapter, then it means the idea didn’t work out 😔
Raine: I’m too tired. I want to finish this but I need to rest because I just recovered from surgery. There are four more extras, which is about the Rabbit Spirit the author talked about in their author’s note. I may or may not translate that as I am already eyeing to translate a new novel. If I don’t, I will just mark this as completed and move on. Thank you for staying with me for this novel.
